Henry's 2nd Birthday Celebration

We had so much fun celebrating Henry's birthday a few weeks ago, and today I'm going to share some pictures of the festivities!

Caleb and I went and got a bunch of balloons the night before Henry's birthday to tie onto his chair and we knew he'd be so excited! We took one into his room that morning when we went to get him out of bed, and then he was so happy when he came into the living room and saw the rest. He carried them around ALL MORNING!

Henry opened a few presents from us before Caleb went to work, and then he and I went to our small group meet-up at the playground. Henry had fun playing with his friends for a couple hours, and then we met Caleb for lunch. We came home and I put Henry down for his nap (with a  balloon), and he had his own little party in his bed before falling asleep. 😊

Shortly after Henry woke up from his nap, my parents picked Henry and me up and we headed to Chuck E. Cheese! (Yes, the balloons came too! 😂)

We decided that instead of doing a big birthday party with friends, we would just invite family to Chuck E. Cheese and pay for Henry and his cousins to play. I booked a party online and we had the best experience with the whole thing!

The kids had fun playing...

...until our food was served!

Henry and I got to go in the ticket blaster (Henry was scared so they turned it off pretty quickly 😂), Chuck E. Cheese himself came out to wish Henry a happy birthday, we ate adorable dump truck cookies that Amanda made, and the kids played a bit more.

This night was so nostalgic for the Moye's...we went to Chuck E. Cheese MANY times growing up. It was so fun getting to go back after lots of years with our own kids! Needless to say we left with full tummies, happy hearts, and lots of junky prizes. :)

We had Henry's party the Saturday after his birthday. We decided to keep it small this year and just invite family. It was basically the same people that were at Chuck E. Cheese, plus 3 of Caleb's grandparents. :)

Henry talked about eating cake for DAYS before his party. He was so excited to wake up from his nap and see what mama had made for him!

We sang Happy Birthday...

...ate cake and ice cream...

...and then opened presents!
This is what opening presents is like when you have cousins (or siblings!) 😜

Caroline's face is like "Oh...you want to open it??" 😂

Henry was pretty tired of opening presents...he just wanted to play with all the new toys he had already opened!

This picture sums up Henry and Caroline's relationship. 😂😂😂

Henry's great-grandparents, Mamaw and Daddy Wayne, brought him a battery powered police car. Watching the kids drive it was very entertaining! 😂

Trying out his new bike from Nana and Derek!

Doing what he does best...digging in the dirt!

We had two great days celebrating our boy with family. Henry sure is loved!
