Three Things

It's been a while since I've written a "Three Things" post, so I thought it was time for an update! The kids of course are always changing, and I love documenting all the little things they do. Henry is almost 3.5 and Claire is almost 10 months. :)

HENRY

-SWEET TOOTH-
Henry has a sweet tooth, and he comes by it honestly! We kept him from a lot of sugar for a long time, but now he gets little treats pretty regularly. Yogurt Mountain is one of his favorite places and we hadn't been in months, so I treated him the other afternoon and he was so excited! He got the sugar-free chocolate and strawberry swirl with one sour gummy worm, one gummy shark, sprinkles, and fruit poppers. 😋

-OUTDOOR ENTHUSIAST-
Henry still loves being outside, and we've had a few opportunities this winter to get out and play. We recently went to Green Mountain on a Sunday afternoon and Henry had the best time "hiking". 😊 He walked the whole trail and had no problem keeping up, and of course picked up lots of rocks and sticks along the way.

-COMMISSION SYSTEM-
We've recently implemented a commission system for Henry to earn money for doing jobs around the house, and he loves it! He has three jobs to do every day (pick up his toys, set the table, and put his dirty laundry in the hamper), and then he has a list of jobs that could earn him extra money. He's doing a great job so far and has over $3.00 in his jar!

CLAIRE

-LOOK MA, NO HANDS!-
Claire is making strides towards taking her first steps, and has started standing hands free! She stands up while holding on to something, but then lets go and stands for 10-15 seconds before grabbing on again. She claps her hands and is so pleased with herself! :)

-JUMPING BEAN-
Claire is still obsessed with the doorway jumper 5+ months after trying it for the first time! She literally jumps non-stop until we can't take the squeaking anymore and get her out. Ha! She's even gotten blisters on her toes before from all the jumping. She is just so full of energy!

-SIPPY CUP-
We've begun the transition from the bottle to the sippy cup,  and Claire is doing great! It took her a week or so to get the hang of it, but once she did, there was no going back! So far she only drinks water out of it at meal times, but eventually we'll start doing milk too.

There are SO many more things I could say about Henry and Claire, but those are just a few fun facts about them right now! They are so fun, so funny, and so full of personality. They light up our home!
